Job Details:
Must be able to read and comprehend labels and written instruction. Must be able to read, write, communicate and comprehend English. Must be able to lift and move furniture up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for at least 95%25%20of shift. Must also be able to perform considerate bending, kneeling and stooping. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, using equipment weighing approximately 15-20 lbs, to clean carpet and hard floors. Also, responsible for emptying trash, cleaning patient beds, bathrooms, and public areas, washing walls, shampooing upholstery, and cleaning of various horizontal and vertical surfaces, all in accordance with departmental operating procedures. In addition to handling germicidal solution and other various cleaning chemicals, individual will be exposed to infectious waste. High School Diploma or equivalent. One year experience preferred. Experience in medical, hospital or institutional experience preferred. The full-time positions include every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.
